If you want to stay in a place with charm and style, the Bjarne Nilsson Bed & Breakfast in Karrebæksminde is a perfect choice. You can rent a small independent apartment that has it all – a sleeping area, a sitting area, a dining area, a small, well-functioning kitchen and a rustic and very well-equipped bathroom. In addition, you will have access to a charming courtyard with an open fireplace, dining table, cosy seating area, barbecue, bar, fun trinkets and walls adorned with art by the host. The large rhododendron bushes in the courtyard are the finishing touch, and help create a lovely almost Mediterranean atmosphere.
The host is an active musician and he’ll probably give you a performance if you ask nicely, or you can see him at the town’s smokehouse. If you have a penchant for old American classics then rejoice, because the garage houses a shiny white ‘72 Oldsmobile Cutlas – a real treat for true car enthusiasts!
The house, which previously served as Karrebæksminde’s post office, is located centrally in the town, with easy access to shops, restaurants and the amazing Enø Beach. And the bus to Næstved is right outside the door.
You’re left to make your own breakfast, but the fridge will be stocked with cheese, jam, butter, juice, milk etc., so you’re ready for your first morning.
You can request an extra bed.
