Bakkegaard Møns Klint probably offers the island’s best views, as well as the cliff and the GeoCentre just a few kilometres away. The property’s 15 rooms exude warmth and charm. The rooms have been decorated by artists from Møn; craftsmen and designers who have each left their individual mark on the place.
There is a shared bathroom, a dining room with a fireplace, sitting rooms, a meeting room, a terrace and a large garden with ample space for you to use. Bakkegaarden has a strong focus on sustainability and organic food, so you can look forward to healthy and nutritious meals. You can choose full board, but you can also just have breakfast if you prefer.
Bakkegaarden is located directly on the Camøno trail, but there are also excellent hiking opportunities in the surrounding hills if you’d prefer a shorter trail. The Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route also runs right past, and the place is “Dark Sky certified”, so you can enjoy the starry sky in its full splendour.
It is 3 km to Møns Klint, and 5 km to Klintholm Harbour with its shops and restaurants.
