Kulturhistorie Aabenraa
Aabenraa has a proud, maritime cultural history from the 18th and 19th Centuries. Large wooden ships that sailed to far-away lands were built there. They brought back exotic goods and interesting spices. Aabenraa was the maritime centre for Sønderjylland. At the Cultural Museum, you can view some of the foreign items that captains and other seafaring folk brought home with them.
