Pension Vestergade 44

Welcome to Pension Vestergade 44.

When the ferry docks in Ærøskøbing Harbour, you just have to follow the main street up through the town approx. 200 metres, where the guest house is on the right.

The house was built in 1784 by a captain for his daughter as a dowry. Afterwards, the well-known local sculptor Gunnar Hammerich lived in the house.

On arrival, welcome coffee/tea and cake are served in the living room or in the garden.

Pension Vestergade 44 owns one of the rare and iconic bathhouses on Vesterstrand, where the host couple Mette and Mikael also occasionally arrange small events, such as a glass of champagne at sunset.
