Close to the fjord and the border
A rich holiday awaits you just a few kilometers from our large neighboring country to the south with a myriad of exciting experiences both on the Danish and the German side of the border. Many of the pitches have a beautiful view of the Flensburg Fjord.

A walk on the Gendarme
Trail Lace up your hiking boots, pack a packed lunch and go for a walk on the historic Gendarme Trail, which winds 84 kilometres along the fjord from Padborg to Høruphav on Als and just past the site.

Sønderjysk kaffebord and Dybbøl Mølle
Gråsten Slot serve the very large South Jutland coffee table at Den Gamle Kro, so it might be a good idea to start with a walk around the park.

There is almost a duty to drive to Dybbøl Mill
at Sønderborg and loose ticket to Historiecenter Dybbøl Banke, where there are soldiers, guided tours, etc. in the season. Stroll around the 10 redoubts among memories of the wars of 1848 and 1864.

Excursion to Flensburg and Als
The science experience park Universe on Als is less than an hour away and offers experiences for a full day, but remember to stop in Sønderborg for a few cozy hours in the city’s pedestrian zone, shops and cafes Flensburg is less than 30 minutes away. Here you can also easily have a day to walk in the beautiful and cozy town and experience Schleswig with Glücksburg Castle, Gottorp Castle, Hedeby Viking Museum and Dannevirke.
